My newest project. This will bring back some memories

Well I bought a 85 HONDA ATC70. It was beat down. It had seen many days of trail rideing and wrecks. Wanted to bring some life back into old trike. We gave it a new heart transplant. We removed the 70cc motor and replaced it with a 140cc motor. Instead of 2hp it now has 14hp . Its way more fun! Powder Coated a bunch of parts. New bearings, chain and some lube and its basically a new trike now. Looking to get the tank painted. The custom duct tape seat will also be replaced in the future lol. Just thought you guys would enjoy the pics. Im sure many of you had or still have these bikes! Post up some pics if you have one. Bought another off ebay for $50 I might have to restore this one too.

LOL MY father inlaw has two of them cleaner then shit. tryed to get them form him but he is going to hold on to them for all the grand kids.

They go for big bucks. I have seen people get 800+ for them in mint condition. Deff a blast to ride.

Awesome! Only condition is, and I'm sure whoever sold it let you know as well, you have to get in a daily wheelie on it. Sort of like this...

My family all has 3 wheelers, they are all original in mint condition, i have a 125cc that my dad bought brand new in 85 i believe, he has owned it since it came out of the crate

Nice! I got two stock 85's Id like to fix up one day. I used to have a 1973 atc 70 when I was younger and sold it for $200 found out later it was worth more than a grand. Still kick myself to this day for sellin it that cheap. lol I couldnt figure out why so many people were calling for it. Now I know why haha.

anyone else start out on a minitrail 50cc?
