when you put the roll pan on u need to put etch primer and then good undercoating on it

What i did on one of mine was just used that roll on undercoat from autozone and then spray bombed the back side black. Then just use primer/sealer on the outside of the pan. Mine is still on my old hardbody going on 5 or 6 years and no rust. Damn I miss that truck tho.

etch primer is a must. I had a sir Mikes pan an it rusted the shit out of it cause it was not properly treated on the back side. When I did my full skin we etch primered it and used some kind of under coating. I did not want the same shit to happen again. JIMMY

i have factory chevy made steel one but i have had mine for 7 years now not a bit of rust think your body man screwed up all i did is k38 (high-build) prime it then shot base and then cleared it and no problems really sounds like your body man screwed you bad  i also sandblasted my gate and found rust holes and just tacked skin to it where it rusted through and same painting techniques and no rust there either so i think it's your body mans painting??? maybe he did not get surface rust off before painting?
