I plan on using these guys here...
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/ADJUSTABLE-TIE-ROD-ADAPTER-STUD-TO-HEIM,3333.html

they call for 5/8 heims but is that in relation to the bore size of the rod end or the overall size?

I guess not too many people have seen this place, they have tons of fab parts in stock, very useful! High-misalignments from 5/16" to 1", even metric.

is there anybody on here that can make me a set of tie rod adjusters? ill need them to go from a dodge fullsize inner linkage to a dakota outer tie rod end. so i can use dakota spindles on my ramcharger. its not something i need soon, just wondering if anybody has the taps and dies. i can find out the size. what kinda price would that be?

I can make them. If you can't figure out the sizes send the parts to me and I can take care of it for. Also you can email about it.

Couple more questions. . . Would you need to use those tie rod to heim adapter studs to bolt the rod ends to the spindles? because of the taper? Or would reg bolts work??

And how could I make my own adjusting sleeve?? Would DOM with threaded bungs work? Or would jam nuts loosen??

And I have a mazda and the stock inner tie rod has a lil offest in it so would I jus have to bend the DOM to accomodate that?? Or should I even have to worry about it??

This is lookin like a good option cuz 4 new tie rods for my truck is almost 100. . . And this is lookin bout the same price, if not cheaper, and a hell of alot cleaner lookin... Thanks guys

thats what i had thought of doing is using DOM thats thick enough to drill and tap. or like you said, weld a threaded bung onto it. or using solid hexagon stock to make it so you can get a wrench on it to hold it steady when tightening the jam nut.
