Actually, it's not the seals that break in, it is the inner walls of the cylinder. The cylinders are so damn tight when brand new, they need a little time to wear the inside of the cylinder out, just enough to ride good. Keep in mind that these cylinders are not really meant to be constantly moving. Using the accumulators makes them act as a shock, so the cylinder is constantly moving. After driving for a while and the cylinders traveling all the time, the cylinders will "break in" or wear out just enough to allow for free travel of the stroke inside the cylinder.
