---------------------------------------------Originally posted by 1 big tacoi want to man, i just dont have the money too---------------------------------------------what do you mean, you don't have the money to stock floor it? All it cost's is maybe $200. All you need for a stock floor if some 2x3 1/4 wall for under the cab. What like maybe 12 feet. I am doing my truck right now, and didn't realize how quick it can come together when you build everything and not have to buy everything. It's a cake walk dude as long as you know what your doing and take the time and not try to rush it and get it done in a weekend. Plus the extra room inside is gonna be the best part. Not having to be a tight fit on them 12-16 hour drives to VA, TX, MS or KY for shows.  BTW i priced a 20 foot stick of 2x3 1/4 wall friday and it was $130. so being broke is no excuse not to stock floor something instead of trying to cheap out and go traditional.   Not saying that's why you want to go that route, but there are some people that go in that direction.

my lays flat without zing the front or messing with any of the steering. didin't even have to cut the steering shaft. my front was sitting on the stock tow hooks but now she lays hard on the pinch till i drag it to rockers.

When I did my old truck we had to take out the steering shaft too.  Made things alot easier.  I also had flipped lower ball joints but I broke both uppers until we remounted new uppers on top of the control arm instead of inside it with the old broken off balljoint used as a spacer. if that makes sense.  We basically took the part of the baljoint that slides inside the upper arm and cut off the actual ball joint and used it in the stock location and got longer bolts to hold the new one on top of the arm.  I really hop this makes sense.  I know its kinda ghetto but it was years ago before you could get control arms for everything and it did work.
