oh btw, theres always Dougs Bugs N Bunnys in Mesa AZ that sell just about anything and everything you'll need for your project

and theres nothin wrong with rollin a fat chick with the strut front end, there are aftermarket companys that sell coilover kits to make that car handle like a new porsche

and for a new engine i would recommend a 1776 with warrenty from Dougs, that engine is damn near bullet proof as long as you take care of it

yeah KCW out of grand junction, they know their shit about bugs. watching them restore cars is amazing. Thesamba.com is a great website with a ton of info. Pete from Airkewld is an awesome guy and makes some quailty parts for air ride, but his prices are alittle high, cheaper just to make your own. Fairly simple shit. Good luck with the fat chick if you keep her. Personally ive just never liked the cars looks, ive had a few older bugs and wouldnt have it any other way. 60 ragtop, 63 hardtop and a 61 baja.

yeah, i love the older body styles too. but this one is free. you can't beat free. hahaha. this one also has a sunroof. i don't know if all the super beetles had the sunroof or not. this thing also runs but it just won't stay running for some reason. i may just go through the engine and keep the stock motor. my daughter just wants a car "that goes up and down and side to side like daddys". haha.
