thats a 289 hi pow thats dressed up the black motor was fully built 302 by bariallo speed emporium and it dynoed at 415 hp hes one of the top motor builders in the country especially with cammers

what kit are u using to put in urs if u use the motor mounts theres 2 different numbers the first ones i got wnt work so i had to get others

It sounds like you know quite a bit about 302s David. The machine shop told us that we could expect 400 hp out of ours easy. It is going to have flat top pistons and stage 3 comp cam, but factory heads and rockers, nice intake and a nice carb. Is he blowing smoke up our asses?

mine is 82 302 bored .030 over full everything in it is crane except the pistons and i forgot the name of those they are flat top though not a roller rocker set up and puts out 415 so idk bout that making 400 easy this is the second 302 ranger i've had so 400 isn't as easy to get to as most think

not to thread jack or anything, but what all do you need to put a 351w in a ranger, a local guy has one for sale and im thinkin i might pick it up.
