Pen tablet?

I think it also depends on what you are going to be using it for. I have a 9x12 tablet and sometimes it can be a bit awkward to use but if you are looking to do renderings that have more of a "sketchy" feel or even 100% artistic renderings it can be a good tool. Also helps in training when you are learning the ins and outs of the pen tool in both illustrator and photoshop. I recommend searching around and finding one that fits your intended use and also one that is comfortable to use at your desk or workstation. Also check into the product and see if it offers other "pens" so to speak such as an airbrush or different tips that can be used.
