any alarm with an auxilary port can be used for air hookup

im not sure about your freind but when i park i always dump my truck so having a alarm set up to drop when it goes off would be pointless now if he had it set up to when he unlocked it it would lift the truck then that would be cool

ive done this before , you can use any alarm that has ground when out, that is normally used for a starter kill ... you have to hook it to a pulse timer relay (dei 528t) and set the timer for as long as it takes for your truck to lay out .. you also have to use diodes to isolate the valves away from each other.

Alarm goes off, vehicle falls to the ground I assume is what he wants. I am completely against remote control of an air ride system. Seems like a good way for it to go off by and kill someone, or somebody's kid. My remote start goes off all the damn time by accident, I  couldn't image a 4000 lb vehicle falling to the ground by accident.   The smart thing to do would be hook a valve to his tank that drains all the air out of the tank. --------------------------------------------- or a train horn in the center console, lol. you'd be able to find the theif, just follow the shit stains. ---------------------------------------------lmao.......

Honestly i have my bags hooked up to my alarm. i have it hooked up off the extra channels that alot of the higher alarms have. i have it set up to where i can hold 2 buttons and my truck will lay out. or a different 2 buttons and air it back up. it's kinda nice to have honestly. the best way to do it is just run a relay off your alarm and diode isolate each valve from each other. if your not good with alarms it's kinda hard to explain.

I've done this on multiple vehicles so that you can control the up and down from the remote.  I wouldn't hook it up to the alarm, as in if the alarm goes off the truck moves etc.  I've used it on my own truck just to startle people honestly.  I've installed it on other friends trucks, it is reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaly helpful if your truck is doored.  Park it, get out, air it out of course.  Then when you come back, pop it up and open the door.  Will really help getting in and out.  I've always used the door popper systems, they will have a lot of extra outputs typically.

There could be a huge down fall to having it wired this way. I remember playing ball as a kid and always having to crawl under vehicles to get whatever was thrown under there. I could just see a kid crawling under there and setting off the alarm and having the truck fall on them and no one would know until you rasied it up. And even when you raised it you still might not know someone is under there. Play it safe man...   I always thought people just layed their trucks out whenever they parked anyways?

Basically what my friend is wanting to do is wire the alarm up to acouple extra channels on the remote so he can raise and lower it from the remote. He doesn't want to rig it up to drop when the alarm goes off,he always lays it out when he parks it anyways. The other thing he thought might be cool is to hook it up to where you set the alarm and it lowers and turn off the alarm and it raise up,but that sounds like it would be a pretty big job.

I've seen a bunch of em done that way.  Mostly just to front or mess with people.   I had my windows on my alarm keypad.  That was nice, if it started raining i just had to hit my keypad to close up.
