---------------------------------------------Originally posted by chris03hdGood points Mater. A swivel 7mm (not a 7mm on a swivel), is a HUGE time saver for removing the coil packs. Also, prior to 2003 the heads had less threads. I believe they are all now 10 thread to prevent the plug spit.. was a big issue on the supercharged 5.4's.---------------------------------------------You are definetly correct. When I was a line tech for Ford we saw that alot on the Lightnings with misfire issues. Plugs were getting forced out from higher compression in the chamber. Ford had a TSB on it, as well as I remember it was due to a casting mistake. Either way 04+ heads seem to hold plugs better. Just had to becareful with the anti-seize. Too much and the plug would make an emergency exit.
