something similar almost happened to me. i was welding the back half back on my truck and i had the gass lines under the truck wrapped with duct tape and spark must have hit the wet duct tape and ignited i booked it and grabbed the  pressure washer from the other side of my shop  while my friend tried with a fire extinguisher. thank god it never got this bad just chard the underneath of the truck a bit. i would hate to see my truck at that point in its life go up in flames. thnak god no one was hurt and it was just an object that can be replaced hopefully you had proper coverage on your insurance.
