slammedtoys is right hes not been a ass, you dont have to pull the motor to z the frame. i just put a 86 toyota clip on my pup and used 2600 bags and i had no i issues with the tie rods binding at all from layed out to max lift i get 10.5 in of lift the only thing that binded was the upper ball joint so i just pie cut and fixed it

Ummm, I don't see how Z'ing your frame is going to help, unless you are Z'ing it too far. If you are laying crossmember, your suspension is sitting at the same angle as it is if you frame is Z'd and still laying crossmember.   I've never had an issue with the tie rods binding. They travel further than the balljoints.

no doubt that Zing isnt going to change anything as far as the suspension is concerned... I dont see why he is binding up either... Like i said I lay flat on 20s.. set up for 22s... no binding.. I get MASSIVE lift for only using 2500s and still no binding... I think your worrying about a problem that may not exist.. and that may be why you have the limited amount of responses. I drive my truck both donked out and slammed as low as possible... NEVER a problem... Ill try to get pics if possible.

the blue yota in my profile lays crossmember on a pretty decent sized 18" tire. Stock arms, and spindles, no issues with tie rods.

Stock arms, and spindles, no issues with tie rods. --------------------------------------------- no z?   I'm not running bags in the front.  I've got a cylinder that I'm putting in.  I'd have to go back and check again and take some pictures of what I'm talking about.  But you're saying this blue yota on your profile lays crossmember on 18's?  The front crosmember under the engine?  What size tire do you have?  I see you didn't do anything with the strut rod going to the lca.  It doesn't hit the steering arm when all the way down and prevent turning a lil'?  I'm probabaly going to run 225/40r18's.  I might be trying to go to low  with my arm movement.  I'll try and mess with it this weekend.    slammedtoys sorry if I came back as an a**.  You're right I might be worrying about something that may really not be an issue.  I'm just in the planning stages of the front.  Like I said before, I noticed something, had a question, and thought I'd ask others who have done this more than I have.   Thanks guys.

So I went back to my truck with the tape measure.  I wasn't event thinking about the front crossmember being lower than the frame.  You guys were right.  I'll have to z it.   That will just have to wait until next year.  I'm just going to get the front down as far as it suppose to be and lay the back out.  I'll do the z when I body drop it.   The tie rods were binding but I was trying to go too far with the travel.
