It fits a Dodge Dakota.  Seth your saying the 917-20036 from Speedway should fit?

If all else fails i'll order two of each and just try them both.

The big ones fit the 778.   I don't like the cheap balljoints. There is a big difference in quality, in almost every part. I like Falcon for the most part. That's what I send out with the arms I build as long as I can get them. Moog is my next choice, but I don't like their boots. Howe joints are awesome, but I can't seem to get people to pay $75-100 for something they can get on eBay for $15 shipped. Weird.

Ya, the customer specified Moog balljoints so that's what I'm going to get. I try and stay away from those $10 balljoints from Speedway, unless that's what I am provided with.

I honestly don't like the Moog's that much, but they work. I have gotten a few Falcons that I liked, but they where hit and miss. I really like Howe, but at $75-85 you might not. Lol. You can cross reference the number to a Napa, Autozone, or AC Delco PN and get a nicer balljoint than MOOG, IMO. But even then you are spending $40-60 each. Not much more for a precision balljoint with a lot more travel (the Howe).

I say get what works for you.  I haven't had many problems with MOOG balljoints, heck I even have luck with the Autozone Duralast for certain things.  If your going with a "money is no object here" kinda thing you might want to look into Uniballs.   Howe makes a good balljoint too but like Seth mentioned, they are pricey.

The first couple places that come to mind are HM-Engineering and Canburg. Do a google search for uni-joints, I swear I saw a place that was in Australia that carried them.
