Looks good! Not sure what you did, but I did a set of billet wheels for a bike last year that seem to be doing ok. They were rough as a cob when I got em so I scuffed the whole rim with a scotch brite pad and some scuff gel to get all the nasty stains off. Then I buffed the lip real good because that stayed unpainted. I Taped off the lip and scuffed again real good. I used epoxy but etch probably works the same, then laid base/clear. They turned out nice and are still holding up chip free.   Here they are, I did the base/clear on the wheels and bike but not the airbrush work.

wheels look great on the ford man!!!  in case anyone wants my opinion...on my boyds on my toyota,i cleaned em up real good with soapy water, then taped off extremely well, took forever... used a red scuff pad on the areas to be painted, u could see it dull down a bit....clean up with wax and grease real good, then use a good etching primer, base/clear and your good to go, did the same with my steering wheel, both have been done for over a year now,and hasnt chipped off anywhere, thats prolly how ill do my new ones...   on a side note, i had some billet door handles done on my dually, powdercoated em black, and within a year, its actually only been like 8 months, all 4 are chipping all over.....
