This thread is not going well, and I know Max doesn't like this kind of stuff in his forum. I know I probably started this with the first reply, but let's try to keep it clean guys.   As far as sleeve bags, ART actually makes a decent sized sleeve bag that is meant for towing. I think you need to buy it directly from them. But it will ride better than a convoluted bag and you will still be able to tow with it.

couldnt this of being handled by emailing the pics directly to max instead of posting a thread on ssm , you obviously have talked to Max about it so why the need to include everyone on ssm?

Thread mostly cleaned up.  I wont do that again, next time ill just remove the thread.

Glad I could help you out man. I didn't catch that you wanted to tow with it at first, you will probably want to stay 1:1 with your bags then. The ART sleeves that Seth mentioned would probably be a good choice for you in the rear.  As far as the adjustable shocks go I don't think they would be worth it. The Bilstiens have progressive valving and ride excellent. Give Steve at RCD a call and pick his brain on shocks. He's a real guru on the subject and a hell of a good guy to deal with.

Thank you Seth for trying to keep the shit-talking to minimum, thank you Brandt for removing most of the offending posts, thank you maz duh and smithchassis for actually helping and to anyone else that ever talks shit on my forum again, I will request that you have your membership revoked. At no point in the original question did he ask if the vehicle looked safe. He was looking to make some major changes and he was quite clear about that.   Actually Bilsteins have digressive valving, but we're not going to go into that...   And yes, sleeve bags are capable of towing, not a ton of payload, but towing isn't an issue if it is set up properly.

Edited: 1/31/2009 2:07:46 AM by FXDGRND Edited: 1/31/2009 1:25:58 AM by blazins10 first :off u should know the whole story before u bash the guy that did it second :it took years for the owner of this truck to get his canned accord to ride the way he wanted, and his acura is lowered on the old accord lowering springs and blown stock struts third: all this happan cause the bolt in parts that was orderd didnt quite bolt in at ALL! and yes i know the owner and the person who bagged it and both i consider good friends   ok, first off I didnt bash the work nor did the owner of the truck, but I knew people were going to gravitate right towards those and bash them, I was trying to head that off at the pass b4 it got started, but this is the internet and good luck. When I said he wasnt happy, I meant with the ride, hence why Im here to as. He has been happy with the work it sounds like, he just wants some stuff beefier and to look sturdier. I know that the vehicle was built on a time crunch for SEMA and it rides like some other bagged rides Ive been in, so no bashing there, but like I said, he wants almost race car like handling like his imports. Im not here to start anything or bash or clown or whatever, just trying to help out a mate from work and maybe learn something myself in the process.   Im feeling like a real monkeys butt for not being more clear on what I was saying and left myself open.     MAZberry: Yes I had talked to Max awhile ago and the site was having issues when I was trying to post it. I had to try like 4-5x to get this thread to submit.  At the same time I was trying to get Max's email and send it to him and both things seemed to happen at the same time.   LEFTsyder:  I wasnt trying to bash you, neither was the owner. He has even said it himself that he might not be able to the ride out of it that he wants, maybe he is demanding too much from it. I know he appreciates everything that you did to get him there, now he just wants to tweak it some now that he has the time and isnt under the SEMA stress.

Did I mention that Im feeling like a real A$$ for not completing my thoughts and for making it seem as if I or him was bashing? urg

http://www.suicidedoors.com/node/794   There is a sleeve bag that is rated at 2000 per, it's made by firestone

the f9100 would be your best bet for towing. Hell we use a f2107 on our 1 ton duallies and tow our 48 trailers all accross the US our 04 has 220,000 miles on her and has been bagged pulling a goose neck the whole way.....
