the bushing may wear out faster but it takes years of daily driven for them to show signs. its best to have them centered but, i have put many miles on this style set upover several years with no problems. unlike most people the stuff i do sees the road every day and is driven to every show they attend.

I like to hear "you can drive this truck until the day you die" not "hey in a few years plan on buying new bushings" no one likes to hear that.

i rather replace bushings every 10 years then drive a unstable truck with the bagged bars going to the center of the trucks axle. rather than on the widest part of the axle.

they are pros and cons to every thing

Great! I'm glad that we got talk about the proper way to set up bags on bars and that a off center mount will eventually ruin your bushings.

These pics are awesome. Did the sectioning of the lower bars have anything to do with running the bags where you did?
