97-03 F150 Fuel Cell/Tank question

thats what i'm going to be doing, sucks that the lightning drinks the gas like water, but like you all said, its better than draggin the gas tank. So is the tank metal or plastic? and if it is plastic what the best way to bond it back together?

I think they're metal with a plastic "shield" around it.
