Anyone on here from virginia? I need some info on Emissions

No inspections but I got hit with a $1,210 ticket while at LOATP. For DRIVING (not dragging) a bodydropped Hardbody. I had to de-bag and bodylift it to get out of the ticket.

Was it a local or THP?

Va sucks You have to know somebody to get a bagged and BD truck to pass. That's what I do every year. Usually it costs me 50 bucks a case of beer and about 2 hours of my time at the shop after hours.

Highway...we (my lawyer, who was following me at the time of the stop) later found out he used to work the Pigeon Forge/Gatlenburg/Sevierville area. Ironic huh?

What was the actual violation(s) he wrote you up for?

Around here (Winchester) they dont really care that much and we have never been pulled over driving our trucks/cars (knock on wood).

You are the first I have heard of getting a ticket like that in TN. If they wouldn't have busted the THP for fixing tickets we probably could have got it fixed...

inspections in houston are kinda hard to get but they never say anything about bags or bd's ... how in the hell can you get a ticket for drivin a BDed truck?????????? thats the dumbest law i have ever heard

I only ended up paying $10 for a seat belt violation. The judge laughed when she read the ticket, she had never heard of it.
