nothin is bare metal. its all paint i just smoothed it out with like 120 or 220 i dont remember. and now im gonna primer it

Just read some things i didnt see the first time. This stuff might be good for what you are trying to do. Its an epoxy primer but it can be mixed as a sealer or a high build filler primer. You could mix it as a high build and lay a few coats, block it out then mix as a sealer and lay a nice smooth coat to make it slick as hell. I use this stuff at home alot and I really like it alot. Its around 100 for the primer/catalyst but you need to get a quart of color horizons reducer to mix it as a sealer.  http://semproducts.com/Catalog.asp?prod=257

If its just sanded paint no breakthroughs to metal or bodyfiller, that laquer is fine. Id wash or sand it off before paint.
