few updates...moved the lower bars to the back side of the crossmember rather than the bottom to get the links level at ride height, got the wish bone tacked in as well. heres a few pics. if you have any suggestions feel free to chime in as this is round 2 so far with the suspension. Keep in mind im new to all of this.  all the way up (about an inch above laid out)   full lift (about 13.5")

might be a dumb question, but why do you have the tabs located like that on the front of the wishbone? wouldnt it work better if it were tabbed off the side of that crossmember?

I dont know about that front mount. I would make the bolt go side to side.

should i just flip it around how i originally had it with a horizontal bolt. The reason i changed it was because i was told it would work better this way.

I know you can mount them like that...if seth sees this, i know that he can chime in better than i can with the technical side of it...although I would have used a rod end instead of a super pivot..

Mounting it vertically like that isnt the problem, but the mount you have doesnt look that strong or thought out. if you can redo that mount better, then I say go for it. But if you are having to angle the tabs downwards like that in order to keep the joint from binding up through travel, I'd just flip it horizontal and run it that way.

well the mount was just thrown on to see how it cycled up and down. I originally had the super pivot horizontal and the tabs fit perfect on that crossmember. I then tacked it in vertically and realized i had to angle the tabs and move one up if i wanted to get enough travel out of the wishbone. So i found a piece of scrap metal and tacked it on the top of that cross member. 99.9 percent of my driving consists of cruising to and from shows on the highway and i am more concerned about saving gas than going fast so i dont think i will need an extreme amount of strength but at the same time i want to do it right thats why i'm asking for help. I think i'm just going to flip it back horizontal, ditch that upper piece of metal on the crossmember and be done with it.  Also im going to put gussets on the inside of the bars going to the super pivot bar with 3/16" plate. Should i gusset the outside of those bars as well?

Looks real nice.  But I agree with everyone else about the front wishbone end.  I think it should be horizontal as well.  Seems like you're limited on the up and down travel that way.

the way you have it set up now limits your travel, if you flip back around it gives you a smoother travel cycle and more travel, and still has the same side flex as what it does now, its a good idea though, ive done it before on offroad truck on the axle and it worked good
