Nox can be fixed by getting a new cat, takes care of that automatically , usually. And like james said advance your timing to pass the co2, i just did the same thing to mine to get it to pass.

it's a carbed motor so it doesn't have fuel injection so a 3-way cat doesn't really do a lot of good for NOx emissions so it basically just converts to 2CO + O2 --> 2CO2and you only have emissions if you live in metro ATL surronding areas, its only like 13 counties but probably wont be long until it gets everywhere in the statethanks for all the help guys but I think I found someone to help me out. thanks for the props on the f150  mods feel free to close the thread

y would we close it? my ranger passed barly without an egr, but timing was set dead perfect with a new cat. i did a tune up on it and took the 9mm plug wires and msd box off, guy said extra resistance in the cheep autozone wires will make it hard to get a good tach signal for the machine also.

well i live in georgia well im guessing you have a title well either right a bill of sale saying you sold it to your wife if you have one or to your mom or dad whoever you can trust and when they go to get the title in there name tell them at the tag office that its not a gas engine anymore tell them to put diesel on the title and you wont ever have to get a emission ever again and they never came out and checked my car or truck them old women at the tag office dnt care so there to everybody having trouble with emission just when you get a car or truck put it as a diesel on the title

Umm, yeah, I hope they don't do Emission shit down here in Liberty Co!!  Also, that run on sentence sparked a question!  (Sorry to threadjack) My dad died about 3-4 years ago.  He didn't have a will or anything.  He had his old 88 Ram 50 sitting there with no motor.  I'd love to someday build that truck.  However all I have is a death cert, VIN #, no title and no Executor of Estate!  Missouri says I need to have Executor of Estate.  I'm stationed in GA.  Someone said I could just file for a lost title in GA since it's old.  Anyone have any advice?  (Again, sorry for the threadjack)

yea, file for a lost title.  a cop will come look at it, run the vin to check if its stolen, fill out paper work done as long as its clear.
