I had a nikon D40 but she died on me when I was at a gas station out side of panama city florida coming back from spring fling so now Im getting either the d60 or another d40 since the price is a lot cheaper now

We got the 18-55 lens, the 55-200, a bag, lessons and instructional videos for like $500

We have a Nikon D90 and love it. got it off ebay as a package deal for like 1,600 came with 3 different lenes and a bunch of other stuff too...great deal

Ritz camera . I was really suprised when I saw it that cheap. I couldnt pass it up for that price.

I have a Rebal XTi...Its my first DSLR, didnt want to go all out for my first...lookin to upgrade in the next 8-12 months...

I am looking at getting the Nikon D40 or D60, just don't know if the d60 is worth the money. I love Canon cameras, I currently have a Canon s5, damn nice point and shoot, but I want a DSLR.I like how the Nikon's have the adjustment wheel located at your thumb, so you don't have to take your finger off the fire button.

you guys all suck. haha. i love canons. ive been runnin one for a while. just a really nice point and shoot with alot of adjustment. it does nice work. but i want a 30d. because they just stopped making them...so major price drop on old stock. and ive been looking at a few lenses. i know ill need a wide, and a hella zoom. canon also has 1.4x and 2.0x sandwiches that goes between the body and the zoom lens for their larger telephotos...sweet concept. oh, and they have a 2000 dollar 800mm stalker lens. haha. ill get a roof mount for my van. 

upgrading to L-glass will have a huge impact on your photos.  beyond that there is the 20D+ stuff I ran a 20D for 3 years and loved it and just moved up to a 5D over the winter. I'd start with a 17-40L4 and 28-105L4 then spend money on a new camera later
