Alright its been awhile since I've been on here but since there is so much confusion on what it takes to lay it out I will explain.... In the rear the axle comes in contact with the unibody pinch molding. If you trim this out in about a 1 inch wide by 1/2 inch tall section the rear will lay out assuming you the bag or cylinder you installed still has room to compress based on your mounts.... Up front the balll joint comes in contact with the strut tower all it needs is a small hole for the ball joint section to pass through and the front lays out...if you remember juiced civics people used to alwyas trim this ball joint hole its no different... The picture above only the rear pinch was trimmed the holes for the ball joints were cut when it got the new paint job

What about the trans x-member or the exhaust Gumby, did you have to do anything with those? I think bodydropped50 will be notching, clearancing the balljoints, and modifying the strut for more drop if they bottom out before it lays out. Thanks!

Mine is pretty low considering im on 265/35/22. If i go 255/30 I can probably sit a bit lower.

--------------------------------------------- Originally posted by nvr53 --------------------------------------------- Originally posted by AON-OFFDAHOOK It appears that those struts are fully collapsed.  You can modify your struts up front and get more drop, and you might be able to cut the bag cup shorter in the rear which is unfortunate since the kit should have had this done for you.  The best option is to sell this and run Hydroholics stuff and you'll be tucking some rim.... --------------------------------------------- dont do it .hydrolics? yeah rite --------------------------------------------- what do you mean don't do it? hydros on this car would probably be the best route to go??? i am a new found fan of hydro's thanks to seeing a lot of Dereks and the guys from AON's installs. my next project will be juiced thanks to them. look at his sig. the revolution is coming.

the bags are bottomed out i have clearences around everything with it full deflated i had the car on my 4 post hoist, i can fit paper between everything easily, the fronts already have toxico shocks that are shortened so id hate to cut them apart to modify more,i screwed up a set of easystreet struts for a accord on my old lexus es300 trying to go that much lower,if bodydropped50 lays out harder id love to try as this is a fair bit of money already towards this, but i doubt it as i dont even have my inner fenders out and the front struts are bottomed, thats why im looking at hydros cause right now im able to comfortably drive around my city at 56-58psi front and 65psi back which is slammed low-sst im running a 235-45-20 and i got about that much rocker clearence but yeah the dark color its hard to see where your rocker is,wish i would kept my dark blue sxt magnum now haha

I know I have more bag travel because my wheels are on the inner fenders with 50-60 psi left in the bags up front and 90 or so in the rear.

yeah your abit lower then me, im at between 1'75-2inchs from the groundi took out my strut compressed it fully today and its the same overall height as to where im laying out right now so i gotta cut up my strut assembly to lay lowerthis is with the easystreet kit, plus id hate to cut up my rear control arms as theres really not much room to play around back therehopefully bodydropped50 is able to get his lower

Im still waiting to get the car back from Airlift...  Ive got to finish some things up on my 52 Chev then I will be seeing what I can do about getting it lower.  I know I can get it lower, the only thing Im concerned about is the exhaust and the trans x-member.  Was hoping Gumby would chim back in and let us know what he did about those things...

That means i'm sitting about .5" lower with .5" taller wheel with bag travel to spare. If I pick up the 255/30/22 tires that im planning on I will get another .5 of drop
