damn that sucks. espicially since that has been in a recall for at least the past 3 years. you would think he would have gotten around to fixing it or taking it in for the FREE fix from Ford. I got a letter about every 3 months saying to take it in, guess he never read his mail

sounds weird like said above it was sitting in the back of some place by the garbage cans

I didnt think he even still had that truck, the way he goes through vehicles.  Sucks that it happened to a clean truck.

I painted it, the new owner called me about a month before it burned and asked how much it cost to paint it all black.. When he found out how much was invested in it, he was looking to sell it for a profit.  He said the stereo (which had been in there for 4 years) caught on fire... fishy.  I was trying to buy it back and re-build it... haven't heard yet. Got any more pics of it? I want to do a before/ after shot of it on my myspace.-Chad

those were the only two pics i snapped of it on my camera phone so they kinda suck,but yea they way it was setup  there seems like a insurance scam

well maybe  a reason y he didnt take it in to get the problem fixed is because the dealership my parents went to with their f-150 said it would cost them to replace the cruise control module or w.e because it was off factory warranty so....?
