What truck is this engine going in?I dont' know about that pan specificly, But Moroso does make a shallow pan like that that doesn't ramp down Or check out chevy II oil pans..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY-II-SB-NOVA-RACING-OIL-PAN-283-350-SBC-SMALL-BLOCK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem5ad0935b88QQitemZ390046374792QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessoriesLike the one above

it's a 355 going in my '96 bodydropped sonoma.   that chevy II pan looks like it may work except the dip stick is on the drivers side and says you cant use it with power steering. guess those arent terrible problems. lol

LOL, Tell you the truth, I have never had an issue with using a standard oil pan (like the one you drew) in an S10 square or new body!Thats nuts...Did you use the "bolt in" motor mount kit...Or build you own?

i bought the stealth motor mounts from that jags that run website. the pan is hitting the crossmember but the motor still needs to come about 2" forward.

have u considered sectioning the crossmember

ya it's an option, but i'd rather not if i don't have to.

I'm running a Hamburger's Performance pan, Trans-Dapt motor mounts and a 350 in my body dropped '97 S-10. Check out their pans.    http://www.hamburgersperformance.com/default.asp
