i'd be happy to see it in red or green. very nice courier man. can't wait to see it finished.

i think you should go with a two toned red, lighter red in the center and darker on top and bottom... oh and leave the wheels unpainted, cause in the sun, those smoothies will throw off some crazy sunlight

That's good JayMac because we have two of them to build! lol. And I wanna start on it as soon as I get back from vacation. If you get a chance call your connection about the rebuild kit and let's get started. Thanks for all of the compliments everyone hopefully I will have some more progress pics up soon.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by OutkastWagon51To be honest I don't know what the thickness is on the framerails I just know it's 3 inch stainless. I was so happy to see some progress that I just took pics and started talking about the rest of the set up and the front clip and stuff! I will find out though and he does exhaust work for his daily income and used his dyes and stuff to bend it. Also the plates for the gussets throughout the main rails are stainless so it should all polish out nicely if I want to take the time. It may not take out all of the places where it was welded though so I will have to try it and see what it is going to look like.--------------------------------------------- Yeah, it definitely looks like it was bent by an exhaust shop.  It looks kinda good that way.  Hopefully they didnt actually use exhaust tubing.

No its definately thicker than exhaust tubing! lol. I'll definately find out when I get back down there to check it out.

the frame work is sic, i would def have it polished out since its stainless.  as far as the colors, i know everyone is doing it, but a charcoal grey and red two tone would fit it perfectly

Well heres an update! Looks like my truck is going to become one of those renderings that never get finished! After 2 and a half years I went down and picked the truck up unfinished. As a matter a fact nothing has been done really except it is in pieces. The backhalf that was made is probably not strong enough to use so its garbage as well. Anyways I do not think I have the motivation to rebuild and finish this truck now. I am selling anything and everything off of it. I will be making some classifieds postings here soon but basically everything will go. It sucks I was hoping to get this thing out again and still want to see the brand new wheels tucked up in the fenders. But I think I am just going to call it a day on this project and use the money from it to get my wagon out and on the road.

good call, the wagon is worth more in its current state than a finished mini truck is these days, sad but true...

so you're scrapping the project because you don't think that backhalf is strong enough? you do realize that stainless is over twice as strong as carbon steel, especially in tube form? that truck doesn't weight much, and I can garauntee that tube work is way stronger than the factory spring steel frame ever thought of being. just pick up the peices and put it together. if everyone gave up when their build got tough, there would be nothing but bagged s10s on 18's riding around
