What is the best train horn out there to buy? any advice????

I wanna be loud!  I see there are lots of options out there, but I dont wanna purchase1 and it isnt all its cracked up 2 be...  Whats the best company?

If you lived in NY and had to deal with the a##holes that never learned how to cross the street, you would want them too!

i got the hornblasters one and its pretty loud it can carry for about 3 miles.but i have heard louder ones.i think i heard that the nathan k5la was louder but it is quite a bit more.hope this helps

to answer your question, i got mine from siege engineering on ebay. they put out over 150 db and were about $80 because they had a "surface defect" that i have yet to find. i like em.

Nathan K5s are the "King-Ding-A-Ling"...but they are high price wise. As for whether to even buy them...eh I blew mine a bunch when I first got it...but now I only use it for shitty drivers who drive 35 on their cell phone in the fast lane during rush hour traffic....or to piss off folks who think they're gay...:LOL:

^^^ thats why im gonna get one. im gonna keep the regular horn for drivers who are just barely impolite. but for the real assholes...ill blast em

Edited: 6/4/2009 4:34:50 AM by low mazdasiege engineering on ebay has a good loud horn for a good price especially the blemished ones. ive heard one and saw it and could not find a flaw. cool cars also has a good horn. they have the first inner page ad in MT mag. hornblasters have come down pricewise on their 4 horn setup but its plastic but sounds good.ive got the cool cars one because i know the owner personally so i got it free. i would buy it anyway its got three huge trumpets and is chrome with a great finish and all metal. and for those who dont like loud things turn down your subs because noone cares how u become deaf before age 30! just my 2 cents and a few more friggin pennies..outtie

I cant tell you the brand I have but it looks to be just like all the other three horn trumpets, the longest one is about 20inches long. If it blows the baffles in them you can buy them for about a buck a peice.(way to much air volume does that)    I hardly use mine, but hell I get kick out of them, and dont really care what people think. If you start careing about what people think, well then I would just give up.   I KNOW everyone has their 2 little pennys to say what they want but seriously why does everyone has to bitch so much, it gets nothing done but people pist off at one another.                 Simple if want somethin just get it....................If we were all the same all of our rides would be the same. So do your own thing with what bank roll you have.     L8r
