Edited: 6/10/2009 11:58:18 AM by Layumon22sEdited: 6/10/2009 11:56:22 AM by Layumon22syeah to go from 100 to 1200 PSI would take way more than even a 30 degree F swing. and no when the gas expands to 100 PSI you only have 100 PSI to work with even though it once was at 1200 PSI. this is a constant volume process so actually all you need is T1*P2 = T2*P1 assuming T1 = 90F, P1 = 1200 psi, P2 = 100 psisolving for T2 gives 7.5Fwhich means it would take a 82.5 F temp change to do that, so basically it wasn't the temp, you have another problem
