I have a 99 ranger extended cab, 4 cyl, 5spd. The line that goes from the slave cylinder to the transmission is a hardened plastic line with a quick disconnect. After the stockfloor it doesnt match up, any ideas, aside from hoseclamps, and rubber hose? Can anyone refer me to a company that make a line like this? Thanks JD

how does it not match up? there should be enough flex for you to reconnect it.

I'm interested in this as well, I kind of would like to run an all new line down to the tranny though

well i have cut the fittings off of a line, you could have a hydro hose crimped on the old fittings, if thats possible

You can always have a steel braided line made.

Go to your local Colliflower/parker store or anywhere that makes hyd hoses for big trucks and the can make you something!

The fitting that has the push-to-connect on the slave cylinder has an aluminum body crimped over a steel shaft and is held in with a roll pin. I knocked it out and cut down the aluminum and had a buddy of mine tig weld a -4 an fitting to it so I could run a steel braided line. I will try and get some pics up as soon as I get my tranny painted and put back together.
