I called up Rock and Roll Off Road in Wichita Falls, Texas today, they are the only authorized dealers of the Chaos Fabrications upper control arms in Texas. The basic upper control arms are $690.00 and they have a new style out now that is adjustable some how, I could barely hear him on the phone (my phone and internet service here in Afghanistan sucks balls!) but he said the adjustable uppers are around 100 bucks more. Just incase any of you are looking into them.  I am gonna call up Extensive tomorrow and get a price on the relocation kit for the upper arms tomorrow (well later today for me).   Big Will Wrote  -  You will also need to lift your gas tank or you WILL drag a hole in it.This is one of the reason why I am thinking about Z'ing my frame behind the cab and raising the bed floor. That would take care of the gas tank and keep most of my bed space.

Are you even sure the chaos arms are gonna work?

Just to clarify on the gas tank thing, you can raise the tank without cutting into the bed at all.  Once you raise it you will have about 1.5" of clearance from the ground when you are laid out.  Again, not having to Z the frame if ya don't want to. I am REALLY rough on my ride, the work I have to do to the body is plenty proof of that   The guys at Mind to Metal know this and overbuilt everything they could and cut as little as they could to make sure the truck would hold up to me, but still lay flat out on frame.

I am not 100 percent sure that they will work, I haven't done it yet, but from talking to the guy on the phone and telling him exactly what I was going to use them for he says they will. Like I said, I could barely hear him with the bs service I have out here, so when I get ready to order them I will talk to him more about it. If I understood him right, the adjustable arms are adjustable up to 1 inch for camber issues. I will be calling him when I get home next month and will be able to hear him better off my house phone. Will, how big of a notch did you guys use? That is the main reason for me wanting to z mine. I am trying to keep the stock floor and just raising it up, but it also takes care of the gas tank. But it may end up being more work than its worth to z it. Sounds like you drag the shit out of yours, we will have to meet up and hit the streets man. hahaha.

This is what Total Chaos website says about them... "TOTAL CHAOS introduced the first performance dual sport truck package that includes chromoly upper control arms for the 04-07 Ford F-150 2wd & 4wd trucks. TC has developed a tapered spindle adapter that converts the kit to be 100% bolt on and eliminates the need drill the spindle to perform the installation. Stock length 4130 chromoly upper control arms replace the factory arms. TC eliminated the factory ball joint and incorporated a 1" Teflon lined Uniball for maximum travel. Sway-A-Way, Donahoe and King offer bolt on shocks that replace the factory OEM shock with a 2.5 diameter coil over and offer up to 2" of lift. This UCA and shock package is designed to increase off road and street performance while allowing the installation of up to a 35" tall tire on a 2wd or 4wd truck (wheel back spacing is critical). Installing a set of TC lowering shackles PT# 48502 will level the truck when aftermarket coil overs have been installed and increase cornering capability. TOTAL CHAOS includes grade 8 hardware, tapered spindle adapters, urethane bushings & inner sleeves, heat treated hi-misalignment spacers, 1" Teflon lined Uniball’s, and powder coated control arms in this kit. Installing the UCA system with other suspension manufacturer’s applications that retain factory control arm and mounting locations can be performed. *Not compatable with Rize Industries kits." So that tells me that they should work no problem. If no one here has used them then I guess I will be the guiney pig. haha

I called Extensive last night and they are going to be working on a front end kit for the 04+ F150s. They said it would be a few months but they are planning on some things. Right now the only kits they have are for the 03s and earlier. Just so you guys know.

You would have to turn the chaos arms upside down and swap sides for them to work and then the only thing holding the uni-ball in would be the snap ring Just have some one build you a set of arms with ball jointsthe 04 -08 have the same upper ball joint taper as the previous genso ball joints should be easy to findYou would have to turn the chaos arms upside down and swap sides for them to work and then the only thing holding the uni-ball in would be the snap ring Just have some one build you a set of arms with ball jointsthe 04 -08 have the same upper ball joint taper as the previous genso ball joints should be easy to find

Yeah, my other option is having Seth build me a set. I already talked to him about it and that is something that I am still thinking about doing.
