We haven't had this problem yet but I figured I'd ask. When judging the hi/ low and you get two or more doored trucks, how do you determine the winner?

For highest ground to rocker, for lowest rocker/door to roof....

i dont think that rocker to roof is that fair, cuz if you think about it, a rockered taco is lower than a rockered s10. i liked how severed ties did their lowest truck at severed in the southwest. they gave each truck 3 runs to drag down a small runway under 15mph ish, and basicly whoever dragged the lowested the slowest won. im sure a ST member will chime in and give you more info. just my 2 cents

Basically, I need to figure out a fair way to break a tie if it happens.

i've always liked the limbo...i've only seen it done at 2 different shows but it's more fun for the spectators too.  i know the guy with the doored s10 will be pissed about the guy with the rockered toyota just cause by design, the toy will be lower, but if you're only going to a show for a trophy, or if you're going to cry like a bitch...then go home little girl....(that or chop your top) here's the one that just happened at lowdown recently & they're a blast for the contestants & spectators...win or lose...& i can say that because my rag top was that last 3/4" that put me out of the running, but again...who cares, it's all in good fun anyway... http://www.streetsource.com/ShowCoverage/ViewShow.aspx?id=182

Two fair ways to do this... 1. Put wooden blocks under the truck and see if it still lays out. Some do, others don't... 2. Take the lowest trucks and air them up... whoever gets the most suspension travel.

Thats an idea.

We sponsored the hi-lo @ Carlisle All Trucks last year there were two doored trucks, the winner got a free 4 link.   The way we decided was whoever got the most lift won.   I also like the idea with the blocks.
