WNAT TO KNOW BEST FITTINGS FOR PLASTIC AIR LINE... PUSH-IN OR COMPRESSION?

I was just wanting to know what u guys thought were the best fittings for plastic air line, and hardline too.  And where to buy them as well. Any input would be great, thanks

The best fittings are probably compression IMO as far as not leaking but they aren't as easy to dissassemble as a PTC fitting so it's really up to you. Remember that clean, straight cuts are important to have on your air line, especially with PTC fittings. Spend your money on good brass DOT fittings either way and you will be a happy dragger.

i love dot push fittings.... i haaaate compression.  anything happens you are screwed unless you have extra furrels or whatever its called. push you can just pull them out. do what you need. and press them in.

personally myself, I don't like PTC fittings. No matter what I do, I'm always gonna have a few that leak. On my ride I'm gonna have compressions, but on a customer, it's their choice, but I always try to push PARKER COMPRESSION.

i use parker PTC on all my customers trucks and have only had a couple leak but it was just a defective fitting.  so i guess i byess

i like my compression fittings never had any problems in 5 years, I do bring some ptc fittings if im going on a long ride just in case. I get all mine from freightliner or amazon hose.next time around want to do hard lines?

every fitting on my car is compression, as they are trouble free and never defective out of the box. They ARE a little more work initially and aren't as appealing to the ear like nickel plated PTC, BUT I have had more luck with them.  I've bought many PTC fittings that either the swivel leaked or were missing the o-ring inside, and when you run everything hidden underneath a car for example, you don't want to find out later when you build air that a fitting is leaking. Obviously, to each their own, but I prefer COMPRESSION.

SMC fittings are great!!

LEGRIS ptc is the only ptc fittings i'll use. they are available at most parker stores if you ask.
