I guess weights are the best way to do it.  I just wanted to keep the look of the wheels clean since the faces of the wheels have been re-cut and you can see the inside lips.  I may try the balance bags first and if they do not work I'll do the weights.  Thanks for all the info!

i told the alignment shop that did my buddy's to bolt the adapter on and try. they did, and it worked. the center bore in the adapter is smaller so the deal on the alignment machine can grab it. they just used the stick on weights on the inside of the wheel.  if you do it that way , make sure they put all the lugnuts on so that won't throw it off balance.

Not sure how it would work with low pro's but I know a lot of offroad guys use BB's inside their big tires to balance them. Might be worth a try.

If you get a shop that does Big Rig stuff to do it make sure they use the correct knock on weights for the aluminum wheels, if they use the ones for steel wheels they may cause the beads to leak. We use a few ways to balance them with mixed results. We balance the wheels with the adapters on them also. Equate or powder balancing is what we do the most of and it is around 32oz of powder for a 305/40/22, but they have a definite shake until the powder gets ditributed around the wheel. Stick on weights work good for low speeds but normally have a vibration at 55 or so and then smooth out. Knock on weights seem to ride the best at all speeds and a few we have done vibrate around 65.
