need some help

so i went and looked at it today. i can tell it needs a new valve cover gasket and its leaking oil from the back middle of the oil pan

Start with the leaks you can find and fix them first. After this is done clean all the old oil off and keep an eye on it for new leaks. Fix them as you find them from there until it leaks no more. As far as fixing the O ring on the filter adapter either consult a manual or look on one of the many Jeep forums out there and you will probably find someone has done a tech article on it.
