So me and some buddies of mine decided to make the Sparky cruise...  We left NY 4:45am to make it to the meet up spot at 7....  We finally get there.  Dropped my truck and shut it off when I parked up, but then decided to go to the bagel store to get breakfast.... truck wouldnt start!!!!  Starter went bad, not enough air in the tank to lift the truck and I only have an EDC...  Everybody there who was waiting for the cruise to start stopped by to lend a hand and give some advice which was all very appreciated!  It got late and everyone left for the cruise...  But 1 of the guys lent me their floor jack which was tons of help!  Dave from AfterhoursFabrication was there along with his buddy Joey  stayed back, missing the cruise to help me out!  He got the truck lifted enough to hit the starter and it started right up... So now off to the show...  Before we headed there, the guys thought it would be a good Idea to pick up a starter and change it at the show...  Great Idea!  Starter only costed $45 at PepBoys.  We then headed on the highway to PA for the show....  On the way, my buddies Burban was overheating causing him to pull over and the rest of us follow....  As soon as I jumped out the car to see his truck, my front end dropped and lost all the air.  My hose burnt through... Had my friend pulled over 2 minutes later, It would have dropped whiles I was on the road!  His burban just needed some antifreeze and it was good... Now my burban was back up on the jacks on the side of the road... Luckily Dave was following us!  He needed to have the truck off to change the hose. He changed it in less the 10 minutes... but now my truck refused to Start! After wasting about a half hour trying to figure out what to do, Dave just said f#ck it and through on some gloves, laid on the wet puddles on the floor and changed my starter!!!  Took him about 20 minutes.  Now the truck was ready to go!  We all left and finally made it to the show around 12:30ish...  Thank God for good friends!  The Show was awesome!  So it made up for the crappy morning... Thought I'd share my day with everyone!

That is some tough luck,  I got to check out the Burb at the show.  I love the 3rd row rear facing seat.

It seems like when you have the best time at a show is when you caught hell getting there. Ive had a few experiences like that myself & I will say that its great to know that you have friends thats will help you out no matter what.
