Edited: 7/13/2009 1:32:44 PM by TiMe_1I personally wouldnt call your weekend a "disaster", all you had was a busted line and a starter. Thats a freakin cake walk right there! good to hear. glad our scene is staying tight and people are willing to go out of their way to help out a brother in need. I had a similar deal happen to me with my 73 c10. I was on my way to work one morning and stopped to get a drink and a muffin, came back out and the truck wouldn't even click. turns out the bolt for the strap from the solenoid to the armature had backed out. I could see it and could just barely reach it, but it was between the nice hot headers and the block. so I had to call in to say I would be late, then wait for the headers to cool down enough to reach down there and put the bolt back in. bad thing is I had just put that starter in a couple days before form the last one busting a snout. stupid cheap rebuilt starters
