So, since this car only has two colors throughout the entire vehichle (black and chrome lol) I decided to go with a colorless chrome on this one....well more of a black and white affect anyways First I taped the horizen line like always and shaded it with an over reduced black.........
and since I already had black in the airbrush, I went ahead and started on the emblems as well........ Next I reverse masked the horizen line and added some white to really bring the chrome to life.......... You can really see the difrence that white makes just looking at the emblem compared the the chrome trim lol and with the help of some white highlights the emblem finally comes to life!
The chrome is finished and ready to be untaped..........
Next i untaped the center portion of the chrome trim so I can reverse mask it and airbrush some sychotik shit Also the customer had a vinyl sticker made the exact size of the Impala SS emblem that came on the originally.I 'm going to use it as a stencile and airbrush all around it so that when i'm done, I can peal it off and the letters will remain black
