it's mind bottling. and yes, they are threaded cylinders with a threaded sleeve over them that has a bushing attached to it.

Like when your mind is trapped in a bottle?  I know Mike is super excited to drive this thing in Dec.  Somone needs to buy his Passat so the max can get finished

getting close. Maybe driving it tomorrow??? The inside is 90% sealed up. I need to make the last piece for the driveshaft tunnel. The brakes are all done. The driveshaft has the Toyota end on it. The intake is welded and installed. Lastly the steering is done as well. Just need to finish up 2 more hardlines and bleed the brakes.

to fix the angle for the steering column, you shortened it up into the cab and added the short piece with the ujoint on both ends- is that right? looks good though.  cant wait to see pics with the bed on, with that bc and the cylinders sticking through the floor will be killer.  What are you doing for the floor?

yeah, the mitsus are rear steer, so if you notice the steering box is right up against the firewall. So the joints have to go inside the cab instead of outside like a typical front steer vehicle.  Cylinders sticking through the floor? No. The cylinders are laid down next to the pumps, so they will never be going through the floor. The plan for the bed is a smooth bed floor with a opening hatch from the axle back.   Anyway, I got the truck going up and down finally. Thanks to Aaron for spending the last 2 nights hardlining. Hopefully I can bleed the brakes later today and drive the truck around the block.
