that kind of tank would only stay clean on a trailer queen that u would have to manually raise and lower to get it on and off to show. just not practical for a working air suspension. but if u could find a way that would be cool as hell! keep us updated on your success with it!!

bigjon is right, doesn't matter what it is, pressure is pressure.  Most car systems ( at least in the old days) run up to about 6000 psi.  The tank on the pump however does not see this pressure. You can leave the cap off and it works fine, although it gets pretty messy.  I would definately get it from a company that makes and or deals with acrylic tanks and knows how they are pressure rated.  You would not want it blowing up as the shrapnel would not be good.

"2,500 psi of oil pressure, which should be about 500psi of air pressure." lmao. id love to know where this logic came from... howd this equation come about?

i talked to the guy that owns the truck at summer maddness hes from forbidden fantasy. it used to be the daily dragger from arizona but chad from fff bought it and rebuilt it and now it was cover of ssm. well anyway that tank is badass. he keeps pretty damn clean and he drives it all the time. it doesnt have to be a trailer queen. he said he got the tank from one of the car washes. its a tank that holds the soap and crap for them.

just google "acrylic tube" there are a bunch of places that sell it. notice the one pictured has machined end caps with large o-rings, and pipe fittings tapped in. if you dont have access to a machine shop that is gunna be the hardest part.
