Need help with ideas, Want to change it up.

thought you were sellin it and rockin a civic now......... a gallon o gas and a match work wonders get paid and then rebuild it

I was gunna sell it and build an expy, but it's paid for, and I can't bear to part with her, so I'm showing her some love. And yeah, I've been rocking my 300 dollar junkyard civic. I love it... haha. It was getting crazy driving the silvy every day for 3 years, and trying to put groceries in the back seat and bed was becoming a bitch... Anyways,  I dig the idea of the interior paint and folowing the flames to the console! Thanks! 2 questions. When I sheet metal the bed, do I leave the bridge open and leave the spikes or cover it? And should the flames continue in the bed or would that be too much? I think black would look cleaner.  

And as for the suicide doors, I've been trying to figure it out for a while. It's got the swing out rears, but I have been trying to figure out how to brace them so I can suicide the fronts off of them. I would kill to figure out a way to do a post so I could have them suicide back independently of the rears, but it doesnt seem workable. Did that even make sense to anyone?

Flames into the bed, nah, it looks great the way it is, def. do some interior paint.

I would keep it as is for now and keep sockin away the pennies for the BD and wheel upgrade. It's a good looking truck as it sits, gonna look even better with a BD

that suicide door idea I think would be great and theres that blue GMC (same body style as yours) that has it. As for the bed, if you plan to keep a hot rod theme (not sure if you do), I say a nice wooden bed floor. and then just clean up the truck. Simple and classy, but low on huge rims seems to be the "iin" thing now adays

I really like the truck, the 24s and the BD will look killer! Paint is sweet and a keeper.  I'd clean up the bed the best you can. try and get most the stuff underneath, maybe linex it the blue color in your flames.  Interior is cool, but Id bring some of the outside theme and colors to the inside however you see fit. Maybe do a steering wheel if you can. But yea sweet truck. 

Maybe you could mold the driver and passenger doors to the swing out doors and suicide the whole thing off the stock swing out hinges and just use the stock latches off the regular doors. I think I have only seen one S-10 done that way with the third door.
