post pics of minis with v8 swaps

prefer yotas with sbc's but anything will work need ideas

my std cab isuzu in my profile has sported a tpi 305 and a carbed 305

yea id like to run that scoop you have but i cant afford it

what is everyone using for shifters...i thought about a runner auto shifter to look stock but also would like to have a hurst style shifter the one that makes it look like a std trans...but not sure if the 4runner one would work with my set up...how hard is it to install one of the hurts or dand m shifters

  Tom tomorow ill put up some pics of my 89 yota with a carbd 305 and 2 spd powerglide with the stock yota rear. Used to have a 4 banger and a 5 speed. Its static dropped hard cranked torsions an blocks. It fits under the stock hood but the oil pan is really low. It has stock chevy ugly ass exhaust manifolds that come pretty close to the steering shaft. The guy who swapped the motor into it said he only had to hit the firewall slightly with a hammer to get the distributor to fit and that was pretty much it as far as clearance issues with the body. The radiator is the stock yota one youre deffinately gonna want to upgrade your radiator though since mine heats uptoo much unless its moving. Also starter clearance sucks but probably wont be as bad if your bagged with no torsion bars. Your probably gonna want a mini starter. I didnt do the swap but from talkin to the guy who did and workin on this truck and daily drivin it i though i could give u some info. ill post pics soon.
