ok i got my motor in and mounted now i need to know what headers are everyone using and also what radiator is everyone using ..im not going for high hp so the stock one should work right ...or even get a v6 one ...i tryed to find one that would fit in the stock location but cant find any smaller then 22" wide

dont use the stock one. my chevy 305 powered 89 yota would overheat with the stock radiator and even a 160 thermostat. It was ok as long as you were moving but if u got stuck behind some traffic and it wasnt wintertime you were done.   You live in florida so deffinately hit up the summit catalog get a good radiator, 160 degree thermostat and heat wrap your headers! If you have wheel tubs up front consider removing them to let more air flow around the engine as well.

yeah get a new radiator. aluminum or whatever. at least a 3 or 4 core. and i have block huggers. they are ideal when you need space

yes but i cant find a radi that will fit in the front frame horns

im putting mine under my core support. im sure there is one. you should change to a short water pump set up also for a lil more clearence

the motor i have alreaddy has a short water pump ...but jegs has a kit with a low mount alt kit with a chrome pump so ill prob get that one ...but not sure on it fiting with the low mounting bracket may end up having to get the mid mount and it should be under the hood..im just gonna redo the droped frame horns to get me room to use the radi i got

yeah i got the lower alterantor bracket also.

are you sure its gonna fit...looking at mine the bottom mount kit would hit the steering box

ya  im sure i have already had my motor in and mached up the alternator on and everything. but the difference is are you b/d and it depends how many inches you raised you mounts or how high you mounted the engine. and my alternator barely cleared. so yeah you may have to trim that steering box bracket the part that hangs off the frame a lil bit.

yea i set my motor up with the stock oil pan ...mabe 1/8 under it ...i also have mine set up where the stock motor mounts like up together ..i see the bolt in kits they have seem to have the motor sit forward of the stock mounts ...i wish i had the low mount to see if it would clear dont want to buy it and it not work ..the mid mount im sure will work ..and stock would be on top of the hood
