I have slam bags, and i recently put this bag in less than 100 miles ago,  and the bag is separating on the lower bellow on one of the mold lines, i dont know if this will keep pulling apart or not but i hate to chance it. The bag isnt close to anything at all it has about an inch gap all the way around it. I called Slam yesterday and talked to a guy named tim and he said to e-mail him the pic so i did but i have not heard anything from him yet. I also sent a pic of the bag to the company i bought the bag from. Definately not bashing the company or anything just trying to get this taken care of before it causes problems while im driving it.

If you have a problem with your bag Tim will get you taken care of, and I see you already contacted him which is good. He is a great man to deal with and knows his stuff, he will get back to you as soon as possible. There a problems with every bag, nothing lasts forever and nothing is perfect, im sure people have problems with other bags just not everyone comes on SSM to post it.  You should be fine but if you want to replace it to feel on the safe side then all means do so, im sure you will hear back from Tim soon and he will get you all fixed up.

Well I just checked my e-mail and tim sent me a message back, and he is taking good care of me, I greatly appreciate him doing what he is doing for me. and I reccommend slam bags, this is the first problem i have had with mine and they are definately taking care of the problem.

my buddy has gone through like 3 bags just in the front of his hardbody. no rubbin anywhere. the first problem was both bags were leaking out of the aluminum inserts in the top of the bag eventually got to where he couldnt keep the truck up. so then he bought 2 more and his driver side bag had the rubber peeling back just like your deal only on the top of the bag. he was severely pissed about the slam bags. he called slam specialties about replacing them and they said they would but he has been trying to call for a month and a half now and no one will return his call about them. on the other hand i have slams all around on my yota and havent had any problems. so i guess there could just be a bad batch here and there but not sure.

ive only ever ran firestones. the 9 year old set of 2600's is still on the back of the truck. i sold it a year ago... also several of mine looked like the one posted above for years. never caused one to blow. ive also seen 450psi of nitrogen hop a f150 2 feet off the ground on regular ass firestone single port bags and never burst. those bags are probobly 6-7 years old and have been on 3 different trucks and still work perfectly.

at first I was running firestones all around on my toyota but then i noticed on each bag it was seperating at the top just like in the picture above so i replaced all four bags with slam specialties and havent had any problems, there is a little chaffing on the rubber on one of the rear bags but they are still running strong and holding air like champs, i'd have more if they werent so pricey,id recommend slams though

the firestone bag pic i posted should be a defected and replaced by firestone but the company decided to be and ass and have engineers decide what the out come of the warranty should be once you called them with a problem and 100% of the time you get nothing but a ass tellling you operator error so they dont have to make a warranty claim   to me what good is there warranty if you can't get it warranty  ill sell only contitech for now on
