This is a great thread! I would love to see someone build a constant pressure or stored energy hydraulic suspension system. The only drawback that I see is cost and the complex valving for lifting, releasing and re-directing pressure. When you think about it, using the accumulator to hold the energy works in with the same principle as a bag setup with a compressor/tank. And the OG Pesco Aircraft setups are also awesone...and rare since most of the parts used for from the 1950's. One of the big things about hydraulics that I love is that there is no limit to how creative you can get with it. None of our setups that we install never look the same and whether you're going for that showy look, stealthy, functional but pretty or all the above there ideas out there with them that have yet to be discovered and implemented. Plenty of room for more hydraulic innovation in the show truck/car scene.
