This is another one of those questions that is not easily answered...Josh is way off base thinking that off-road trucks don't need much castor. They run as much as 20o to keep things going straight truough the rough stuff. And as far as why so many don't design it into their custom suspensions is probably because so many do't realize it's there and if they did, properly designing it into a scratch built front end is a lot harder than you would expect. It effects not just castor, but bumpsteer as well. Having driven vehicles with both, I would make my decision to run anti-dive based on each particular vehicle's needs.
