76 D200 Crew Cab Rebuild NEW PICS 2/16/11

Well a little reverse progress last weekend. Rear frame rails wernt to my liking so off they came and spent some time makeing a better matching pair. Also got the upper axle tabs figured out and postitioned the watts link bracket.

Off with the old rails.



Jon thinks I built the table to tall so he ahs to improvise sometimes.

Its these time when me and the dog wonder wtf hes doin.

Started building the new rails on the welding table. Got them tacked up and squared off with some temp crossmembers Tabs mocked up Watts centered and tackedNew rear rails up and centered for welding

lookin good now hury up so we can put my frame on that table lol

Gonna have to get in line.....

Got a little done over the past couple weekends.

Front upper 4link tabs are on.

Shock crossmembers thru and rear frame section for air and fuel tanks is framed in. Shock tube is 3/16 wall 1.75" and passes completle thre the frame on both sides. The FOX shocks will mount on the outside of frame and go down to the lower link bar.

Started building upper bag mounts.

Where it needs to be (ish)

Started with some 1.5" .25 wall

Threw in some hoops

Small piece to connect it to upper tabs

This crossmember still needs notched to fit but will cross and lin both upper bag mounts together. Then I will tie the shock crossmember to this one then to the drive shaft loop that will be between the upper link tabs then down to the frame at rear of cab.
