Well its been a whil so I figured Id post a update. Been a real busy summer at gauge so the dodge was pushed to the back burner. I got the scout up and running and ended up trading it off to Bronco Juan from RA for a 83 Chevy crew cab dually with a reman 12V Cummins in it that he had been working on (storing) for the past 5 years. I finished up the engine sway 2 weekends ago and now its a fun daily driver. Im planning on putting the dodge back into priority very soon.

Heres the scout one of the few times I had it out before it was traded off.

And the CHUMMINS

Well show season is over for me so Im back at it. Its nice having weekends free again. Let the welding burns, scratchs, and cuts begin. Actually relocated the truck a few weeks back. Its now in my buddy Jon's garage. Hes my best motivator and has a heated well lit garage so theres no way to turn down a open bay. Spent Saturday & most of sunday mornign cleaning and organizing my parts and work area. Then was able to get about 5 good hours of work in on it Sunday afternoon. Stated off by sizing up some cab mounts while Jon went to town with the welder like a relapsing crackhead. When he saw the fish plates laying on the table it was like christmas for him. And of course Im not gonna tell him "NO you cannot help me work on the truck." Im pretty sure Jon is the only one that is really gonna be there for having the truck ready for this years HotRod Power Tour. That is the current goal. I guess since he is the new helper I should at least give him some credit. Here is a pic of Jons Bronco Im sure most of you allready know.

Ohh yea Pics of the weekends work......

Built the link bars and started sizing up some mounts for them. Lowers are on and cool and uppers are mocked up. Still have to design the gussets and link upper bag brackets, front upper link bar brackets, drive shaft tunnel and frame all togetehr but at least Im back on it.

Jon fooling around in the cab.

**********SIDE NOTE : If you are going to stand a truck cab up like this make sure there is not a grenade on the dash of truck when you do. It will shatter the back window when it rolls of the dash. *************************

Theres a pair of wwII era gas masks, a few grenades, and amo boxes inside. I used to like to f(*k with people when cruising. I look back at it now and relize it was very toolshedish.
