the only thing i did to my upper a-arms was reangled the balljoint down 12 degrees to keep it from binding. but i could have went just a little more. it dont get tight till half an inch from the ground. as far as measurements for my cups i have no idea. if i think about it while in the garage i will measure mine for you

I used 2500 arms on mine. the stock uppers will contact the arm mounts right where the arms curve. all I did to use the 2500 arms was drill out 2 holes to be able to use 1500 balljoints. I used moog balljoints also. haven't had a problem with 22's.

3500 arm are no different than 1500s. they just have the tubular look. the bj angles are the same. if you want to use the tubular gm atms you need one from an 8 lug 3500. you will also need to weld up and redrill 2 of the 4 bj mounting holes.

i have stock arms on 22's. trimmed uppers for the a arm mount, dehumped lowers and i run moog upper ball joint and stock lowers and i haven't had a problem. i've heard of ppl running 24's on moog'swith stock arms just fine. i dont remember how tall my cups are on top.But my lowers are just plated with 1/4" top and bottom and the bag boltsright to it. hope that helps a little
