mosier is full of shit, they built my axles as well. they may not list them by vehicle, ask about the rear itself a chrysler 9.25".jerry is right, i dont care what they say, chrysler 9.25" rear axles can NOT be resplined.
---------------------------------------------Originally posted by FCKNLOWthe guy who is doing mine is charging me $550 parts included, i thought that was a hell of a deal. how much should i narrow it? Taylor said I should narrow it around 2" on each side but he wasn't for sure. the wheel is a +25 offset, anybody else have an Idea????--------------------------------------------- I think 2 inches will be good...Adam has that offset wheel and he did 6 inches...which he says is to much. I did 4 inches with +13 and mine is closer than i want it to be. 4 inches should be good. As for $550 parts and labor...id wait for the phone telling you its gonna be more. The new axles alone are $345...plus shipping or ur stock axles to moser...($47)...and moser shipping both ur stock axles and ur new axles back to you...$(67)...plus $20 worth of bearings and seals...so unless your guy is breaking the axle down...pulling the ring and pinion...narrowing it...and putting it back together for $70 bucks your gonna get a phone call soon. Your guy is thinking they can be resplines for $110. I've been through this process once on my truck and 3 times this year on customers trucks...just got a set of new axles from Moser last week.
