As for when it runs, most people assume that it will run a month after its shot.  That is a VERY rare case!  I've shot stuff that has taken 4+ years to run and other stuff was in print with in the week.  There are a TON of variables like what it is, quality of photos, color of vehicle, how hot it is, etc, etc.  I could go on forever.  There are times that i shoot stuff that i dont have any idea it is on the shelves until i pick up a copy and see it, so the magazines dont always let you know.  They have WAY too much going on to call everyone that has been shot.   As for getting ahold of Mike at MT, good luck!  He is busier than anyone i know.....times 10.  He is running the magazine solo at this point, so please bare with him and give it time.  Like i said, some times it can take up to 4 years.  I just wrote an article for him for the March 2010 issue that i shot over 2 years ago.  Nothing wrong with the truck or photos, just happend to be one that didint run quick.....IT HAPPENS! Hope this little insight helps you out man!  Maybe give the person(s) that shot it a call and see what they say.  I write everything i shoot for Minitruckin and know about 2-3 months before it hits the stands.

I have a friend whos truck was shot over 4 1/2 years ago at slammin and jammin for Sport Truck.  One month before Sport Truck shut down the call him wanting to make sure the tech sheet was right.  They told him it will run in Januarys  issue.  Well I think December was the last issue.  So I feel bad for him he was excited and hasen't got to many shows over the years to get exposure.  After that I started noticing plate dates and some are old would have been expire a couple years ago.  But I assume the magazine game is crazy and you can only fit so much in and want to be the first to feature a truck.

From my experiance, what has been said is true. It really can take a year + to see your vehicle in a magazine. My toyota was shot last year September.. and was contacted and told it would run here shortly. It's worth the wait!! It keeps me waiting each month to receive the new issue. I just hope the magazine can stay afloat in these economic times.. We have already lost 2 great mags... KEEP IT UP GUYS!!
